There is no let up in the quality racing this weekend with Newmarket dominating.
I am not going to desert Mr. O’Brien where two-year-olds are concerned, and my faith will be tested in the 13:50 Newmarket today where I’ll back Fantasy and Sergei Prokofiev each way.
In the 15:35, Hermosa and Zagitova both are each way prices in an 8-runner race, with at least two outsiders too, we have a good probability chance here of the horses winning or placing in the first three.
In the 16:10 Newmarket, Astronomer at 7/2 (Betting Forecast) is ideally placed for an each-way twirl.
Tomorrow sees Our Aidan mob-handed. The 14:25 Newmarket I like on Saturday, as Circus Maximus and Western Australia look to be near the 10/1 mark each way.
I don’t know the odds for the 13:50 and 15:00 races where O’Brien runs yet: more two-year-olds, so cannot get an idea as to the relative odds there.
A look at the stats will tell you I may be onto something. In the last five seasons, Aidan O’Brien two-year-olds running in the UK made a 44.83-point profit to level stakes.
In Ireland the strike-rate is poor and there is no profit, so perhaps he leaves the cream to run in the UK?
