Oh man, why do I do it to myself?

On a recent trawl of the internet ( kellybrook.com is worth checking out, although I was disappointed that there were no gambling articles), I discovered a pdf available to download with some 74 free betting systems.

As far as the horse racing systems are concerned, if possible I run the system criteria through form software to see if it has any legs.  I then transfer the results to staking software for further analysis and can then find the optimal staking plan . The ideal is to ensure that with any profitable system, stakes are kept relatively low, and the profit graph moves nicely from left to right.

If you want to download the pdf, let me know and I’ll pass on the address. There is some filler in there but if I can find just one or two workable ideas, I can pass them on to you, dear reader.

A website I particularly like as a sounding board for ideas is https://www.cdsystems.uk.com/previousresult.htm

Here you’ll find some reasonable horse racing betting ideas and their attendant profits. I have run the Topweight system through the Form software and it did not make a profit over 10 years, but there were some profitable angles in sub niches such as Days Since Last run. Alas, my old warhorse laptop died on me yesterday along with the results, so I’ll run them again and keep you informed.

And here’s another website where you could find some horse racing betting ideas.

https://www.glennobrien.net/horse-racing-systems.html is the name. Check it out. The price is right. It’s free!

There’s probably a lot of unworkable systems there but as I say, just one or two nuggets is all I need.

So, rather then spending a relaxing 5 hours spoiling a good walk with a round of golf, I’ll be working my way through some of the ideas from the websites above, and sharing them with you in upcoming eletters. Have a great weekend.
