Welcome to 2019. This year I’d like to do something different with some of these eletters and that is to present some videos within the content of the eletters. I think by doing this I can impart so much more useful information to you, and you of course can sit back without the need to read my Shakespearean prose .

I can cover a wide variety of topics from a beginner’s guide to the Racing Post website, to researching tennis matches ( the Australian Open is upon us – the first Grand Slam of the year), to a chat about the weekend’s football.

I can show you staking plans and how they can impact profits, how to uncover strategies by looking at the form, and a look at some new tipsters and systems out there – what to look for when searching for tipsters.

So do watch out for these videos in up-coming eletters. If there are any topics you would like covered ( such as an indepth interview with Rachel Riley from Countdown for instance), then email me and I’ll see what I can do.

I have just finished January’s edition of What Really Wins Money newsletter. In it this month, I look at an app which alerts us when favourites in the football or tennis are struggling ( hence their odds become attractive for the backer).

I bust some myths about the performance of favourites on heavy ground ( this being the time for heavy ground venues). There are some surprising conclusions. I also look at Southwell’s unique fibresand surface. A graveyard for favourites? Not quite, particularly at 2 specific race distances.

The Patriarch has uncovered yet another strong betting system based on trainers. The results are mouth-watering.

The Betting Bot chronicles are updated. My adventures in the world of the VPS and the Betting Bot, trying to uncover that one strategy we can automate and profit from without lifting a finger. I link the most profitable homegrown strategies of 2018  – and there are some great profit makers. Incidentally, for you layers, you might want to focus on horses at odds of 4.5 or higher if you are not currently profiting. This seems to improve profits massively. Some good stuff this January.

See you next week with, perhaps, the first video eletter.
