About PGA Profit:

PGA Profit from Smart Betting Club has reportedly enjoyed more than four years of profit. It’s an expert golfing service backing golfers on the PGA Tour.

The expert behind it is Matt, a former accountant turned sports therapist and now professional gambler, who has successfully showcased how to make a profit betting on golf since February 2018.

Over the course of the last 4+ years, a ROI in excess of 30% has been made using small stakes, which equates to a 1384 point profit / 32.80% ROI from 1423 bets on PGA golf tournaments. This profit has been spread out evenly over the years as follows:

The selections are derived from Matt’s own golf betting algorithms and databases, combined with his finely tuned understanding of golfers and the betting markets.

As a subscriber to the PGA Profit service, you will receive a weekly email outlining the best value selections to be backed each way. He also supplements these each way bets with occasional top 10, top 20 and in-play each way bets. Many of which can be placed with betting exchanges as well as bookmakers.

Matt has even appeared on Smart Betting Club’s podcast. Click here and scroll down to discover why Matt bets on golf, how his algorithm works in terms of hunting down value bets each week, and the best way to get your bets down – be it with bookmakers or exchanges.

Matt advises an average of 4-6 tips in most tournaments on mostly outright selections alongside occasional top 10 and top 20 market bets, and our reviewer Edwin has been following the service for over a year…

Our Review:

Edwin has been receiving the tips for this service for just about one year now – a length of time that is sensible and right for such a thing as a golf betting service. Too small a sample size wouldn’t really mean anything, and it’s certainly been given a good run out over this duration.

All selections are sent via email, usually around 9pm GMT on Mondays, although, if an event is slow to be priced up, then it is sent on the Tuesday around lunchtime.

Matt advises all bets to a percentage of your current bankroll, never betting more than 1% on a selection, but for those who prefer a points-based system, then 0.2% would represent 1 point.

The very first email from Matt conceded that although this service is long-term profit making, the nature of golf betting ensures that you can go very long periods without hitting a winner – yet when you do hit a winner at average odds of over 50/1, it more than makes up for any losing streak.

It is not rare therefore to go months without a big winner and indeed post losses for several weeks on the bounce. You need to be prepared for this likelihood and not expect winners every week.

Indeed, the Win odds are usually pretty hefty with Golf and the wins may be few and far between as a result, but betting each way (or in Edwin’s case backing Win and Top 5 finish) ensures that there are regular small wins, which really help to smooth out the losing runs. A top 5 finish here and there certainly makes a difference, or better still, two or three finishing in the top 5.

The odds for Betfair that were supplied with the tips email were generally spot on. If the odds do dip, Matt provides a lower limit for each selection that you must not bet below. On a few occasions the price had actually drifted slightly in our favour.

All in all, PGA Profit is a very mellow and easy service to operate: no sweating over monitors, hoping for an exit point or a trade – simply set, bet and forget.

Matt keeps an eye on the golf as things progress on the course and on a few occasions he would send follow-up emails to advise of any players that had withdrawn from the tournament (in order to make sure that the stake was correctly refunded and that particular bet voided).

He also would send follow-up emails with any ‘In play’ additional selections to bet in exactly the same manner as the initial backs. This only happens though when circumstances (and odds) dictate, which during the trial wasn’t often.

The Results:

At the end of 2021 Matt sent an end-of-year write-up for the service, complete with figures that showed over the last four years it had enjoyed an average ROI of 53% which is no mean feat.

At the end of our trial (one year from start to finish) the results have shown a gross profit of 169.2 points and a net profit (after deduction of Betfair commission @ 2%) of 165.8 points.

Overall Summary:

We have been extremely impressed throughout with this service and the results speak for themselves.

We urge you to try PGA Profit here.
