Thanks for your feedback regarding my green screens eletter last Friday. In particular, I received some great tips regarding finding front runners.

Winning Warlock is a free-to-access website well worth a look for finding front runners in races.

As a reminder, front runners are horses expected to hit the front at the start of a race. These horses interest horse racing traders simply because their odds should shorten once they lead in a race.

Having backed the horse pre-race, theoretically we should be able to lay the same horse at lower odds in-play and thereby create an instant profit.

Here is a great introductory article on in-running horse racing betting.

This website provides in-running ratings and the above article explains how to interpret the tables.

I’ll be recording results to see if we can make a trading profit.

Pace Form is another website which has been recommended to me as providing accurate ratings. This is a paid-for site, so I’ll take out a subscription on your behalf and see if their speed ratings are accurate enough to enable us to profit with in-play horse racing trading.

This website purports to be able to give you a flavour for how a race will pan out. We shall see.

I’ll keep you updated as to how I fare in next week’s eletter.

Bye for now.
