About Daily Football Stats:

Daily Football Stats (from Winning More) is a web based football stats spreadsheet which enables you to filter football matches via any of the 43 stats filters on offer ( 10 for the leagues). Once you have shortlisted a set of matches based on the stats filters you have chosen, you can export this data to an excel spreadsheet.

My 6 Month Review:

At Daily Football Stats, Steve Davidson, the vendor, provides us with 6 Methods which he claims have profited by using the stats filters at the web based software.

These methods are:

> Lay the Draw. Matches were found using a specific set of filters :combined goals scored and goals conceded greater than 3 and combined both teams to score greater than 50% of matches
> Lay 1-1 Correct Score. Matches were found using a specific set of filters: Combined goals scored and conceded greater than 3
> Lay the 0-1 Correct score. Matches were found using a specific set of filters: Home team scored in both halves when playing at home greater than 70%
> Lay the 0-1 Correct Score. Matches were found using a specific set of filters: Home team scores in both halves when playing at home greater than 50%
> Back the Draw. Matches were found using a specific set of filters: H_cleansheet % greater than 50 and Home bookie average odds greater than 2.00
> Back the 0-0 and 1-1 C/Score.Matches were found using a specific set of filters: H_cleansheet % greater than 50 and Home bookie average odds greater than 2.00

The results at the website impress and these can be continued by the end user.

I used Daily Football Stat’s database to focus on over 2.5 goals. Here’s an example of what I did to find these matches.

I exported a spreadsheet, and then went about highlight stats which I thought would help point towards over 2.5 goals.

> H_O2.5 goals ( home match over 2.5 goals % – I highlight 75% and higher)
> H_1.5 at HT% ( home match 1.5 goals or fewer at halftime % – I highlight 75% or higher)
> I do the above 2 stats but for the away team.
> Combined BTTS % – combined both teams to score. I highlight matches with 75% or higher
> Combined over 2.5 % – I highlight matches with combined over 2.5 % 75% or higher
> Comb_GS+GCPM – combined goals scored and conceded per match. I highlight matches with 3.5 or higher.

Once I have all of these stats available, I delete all erroneous columns and am left with a set of matches. I am left with a strongly colour coded set of matches. Any match which shows a highlight throughout all columns should, I hope, suggest over 2.5 goals.

The database allows the ability to back test ideas and past spreadsheets update with the results making it very easy to see at an instance whether you are onto something.

Overall Summary:

I find this web based football stats database excellent. It can be used via the 6 methods that Steve Davidson share with you, or by creating your own betting ideas for football matches. The facility to allow you to export data to excel allows real flexibility and an ability to highlight matches ( as I did) which strongly meet my personal criteria. The vendors, Steve Davidson and Winning More have an excellent reputation .
